A Scandinavian-style apartment building in Pärnu needed corridor lighting that did more than fill the ceiling. We installed our Lightweight luminaires as a modular pendant lighting system in matte black. It runs the length of the shared hallway. The fittings light the corridor and give the otherwise minimal interior a quiet industrial edge.
The Lightweight family is built around a single element shaped like a weight. Each head can hang on its own or gather into ceiling lamps and pendants at different scales. That is what lets the modular ceiling lighting system adapt to the space.
Black cables hang loosely from each head of the industrial pendant lighting, part of the composition rather than hidden away. Because every head is the same matte black, the whole run reads as one continuous line, not a string of separate lamps. Function stays visible, and that is the point.
Each of the matte black pendant lights is built to be serviced from above. The top is a screw top, so the integrated LED element changes out easily. An M10 industrial lifting bolt in matte black caps each head. It is both a detail and a tool: turn the bolt, the screw top releases, and the socket opens underneath.
