Our Branch urban lighting stands at the foot of a 16-storey office tower beside the Emajõgi. Seven poles light a public plaza made for sitting and staying, the riverside street lighting for this corner of Tartu.

The pole takes its shape from a pine: a straight trunk, arms forking from a branching head. Here it is Branch-06, the six-profile version, with the Wannabe LED profiles turned to both sides of the pole. Seven of them light the plaza from within it rather than from the edge, and the seating sits in the light.

Wannabe is our own anodized aluminium LED profile, its optic under a fully tempered glass plate with an anti-reflective coating. The profiles are set at a fixed tilt: asymmetric distribution, no upward light. The driver sits inside the galvanized steel pole, and the head is powder painted aluminium. The light is a warm 3000K.

The tower is by Alianss Arhitektid, the first 16-storey building in Tartu to reach LEED Gold near-zero energy. It won a Raitwood Facade Award in 2020. Branch is one of our standard outdoor luminaires, the same branching head grown with three, four, or six profiles. Pole height, optics, and finish are set per project.
