Vanemuise Street

On Tartu’s Vanemuise Street, we installed our Timpan illuminated bench, a sculptural seating element inspired by the form of a timpani percussion instrument. Designed for public and private spaces, its radial form combines curved seating pods with soft ambient lighting, creating functional urban seating with integrated landscape lighting.

Timpan brings together public seating and outdoor luminaire in a low-maintenance solution for contemporary public space design. Integrated LED lighting elements are accessible for maintenance, and each unit is securely anchored through the base.

Manufactured from semi-transparent polyethylene using rotomolding, the bench is durable, impact-resistant, and vandal-resistant, making it suitable for demanding outdoor environments.

The seating surface is finished in synthetic teak over waterproof plywood, combining the appearance of timber with marine-grade durability.
