Kakumäe Haven

For Kakumäe Yacht Haven in Estonia, we developed several lighting and street furniture elements that shape the marina’s public spaces. The promenade is illuminated with Branch street lights, whose form is inspired by the crown of a pine tree. The Branch street luminaire introduces a subtle natural reference into a contemporary outdoor lighting element, providing pedestrian lighting while adding a sculptural presence along the waterfront.

For seating areas, we designed Rotor illuminated benches, inspired by the form of ship propellers. The radial benches integrate curved seating pods with ambient lighting, combining outdoor seating with landscape illumination.

Rotor benches are rotomolded from semi-transparent polyethylene, making them durable, impact-resistant, and vandal-resistant. The seating surfaces are finished in synthetic teak, referencing traditional ship decking while ensuring long-term resistance to moisture and wear.
