Pebble is a premium UV-resistant seating element designed specifically for outdoor use in public and commercial areas. Built to last, this seating element is manufactured using advanced rotational molding techniques with light-permeable polyethylene (PE), blending durability, weather resistance, and a sleek, modern aesthetic.
Inspired by the natural shapes of smooth, stone-skipping pebbles, Pebble serves as both a functional seating element and a unique illuminated feature for outdoor spaces. Originally crafted for the redevelopment of Stockholm Square in Narva, Estonia—soon to become the city’s main square—Pebble brings vibrancy to urban environments, enhancing their visual impact both day and night.
Its adaptable seating areas create a vibrant atmosphere, transforming dim spaces into enchanting displays of glowing sculptures. Pebble not only guides and assists night-time walkers but also serves as pedestrian area lighting.
Polyethylene’s weather and UV resistance means it won’t corrode or become brittle in extreme conditions. It’s also chemically resilient, allowing for a variety of cleaning agents, making it perfect for outdoor architectural projects.
The seamless integration of functionality and artistry makes Pebble an essential element in urban design, providing both comfort and safety to its users while enhancing the overall ambiance of public spaces and outdoor architectural projects.
Inside the Pebble chair, a durable, transparent vacuum-molded polycarbonate (PC) support adds strength. Additionally, its IP65-rated RGBW LED lighting system offers customizable lighting, controlled via DALI or CASAMBI systems, providing architects and urban planners the flexibility to tailor the ambiance to suit specific environments.
