The ‘Oak Tree’ outdoor lighting design is inspired by the oak’s symbolic significance in Old Jewish tradition, blending tradition and innovation to create unique lighting designs for public spaces. These are custom luminaires that enhance outdoor space with meaning and modern design.
Inspired by the resilience of the oak tree, these are created to pay homage to the tradition of the Old Jewish Cemetery. Within Jewish culture, the act of planting trees in memory of departed loved ones holds a deep significance. The Oak Tree streetlights reflect this sentiment, symbolizing remembrance and respect.
Standing tall at approximately 5 meters, the lamppost is constructed from galvanised and powder-coated steel, mimicking the esteemed appearance of COR-TEN steel. The lower leaf sections are painted in signal white (RAL 9003), ensuring optimal light reflection.
The LED driver is located within the post for easy accessibility and maintenance purposes. Additionally, the outdoor luminaires are equipped with Zhaga street lighting connectors.
