The Oak Tree outdoor lighting design redefines public space illumination by merging heritage with contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by the oak’s symbolic significance in Old Jewish tradition, this sculptural street light installation transforms urban spaces into environments rich with meaning and identity.
Rooted in cultural heritage and landscape integration, the Oak Tree street lights serve as a tribute to the Old Jewish Cemetery, where trees symbolize memory and continuity. This lighting design reflects the resilience of the oak, blending timeless symbolism with modern urban lighting solutions.
Designed for parks, pedestrian zones, and urban landscapes, these custom outdoor lights balance energy efficiency with artistic expression. Standing at 5 meters tall, each street light is constructed from galvanized and powder-coated steel, with a finish designed to resemble COR-TEN steel, ensuring both durability and a seamless integration into natural surroundings. The lower leaf sections, painted in signal white (RAL 9003), enhance light reflection, optimizing visibility and ambiance.
Each luminaire features five sculptural metal leaves, with two IP66 LED light sources strategically placed for optimal street illumination. The two larger leaves act as reflectors, ensuring efficient light diffusion while maintaining a warm and inviting glow suited for public spaces and pedestrian areas.
To enhance sustainability and adaptability, the Oak Tree street lights incorporate Zhaga street lighting connectors—a global standard for smart outdoor lighting solutions, allowing for easy upgrades and integration into intelligent lighting networks.
